Hey folks, I'm Jon. Thanks Spenc for the invite, lookin' forward to checkin' out this site from time to time and hope I can add a little also.
I currently drive a 96 Mustang with too many mods to list but a few of the important ones are here:

Forged shortblock(9.0:1)
Ported PI heads
Comp Cams 270 grind cams
Comp springs and oversized Ferrea valves
Bullitt intake
P1SC @ 12# about to become a D1SC

Have run in the 12's 2 years ago with a 99 motor(untouched) and blower, and last summer ran 12's on motor because of tuning, head gasket and PVC trouble. This year I hope to be running in the mid-low 11's and maybe come close to a 10sec timeslip, we'll see.

I'm sure this will be a good forum and hope to hear ya all here. cheers.gif

Hi

this is cool...in fact it's 2Kool

I am looking forward to meeting everyone here and/or at the track. I race my 87 LX coupe every weekend during the summer in the SemiPro/Pro division NHRA. I believe I have the fastest stock engine stang in the region with a best ET of 12.97 @104 (1.66 sixty foot) with nothing but a K&N and shortbelt under the hood (speed density) I have installed a 125 NOS kit but haven't had time (and a place) to test it out but I know I can get into the 11's with it. I placed 2nd overall in my division with a big win right at the end of the season where I got to race Carl Jessup in his undercover dragster for the King of the Track title...I lit the red-eye with a .483 but what can you do with a stick car against a delaybox & transbrake. I had little choice but to try to beat him on the tree for the win. What a season!!!

I have done a lot of mods to the car (outside the engine) to reduce weight and the ET's. My sponsors over at Crilly Chassis Works have handled just about the entire project thus far and have done a fantastic job (obviously) I still drive the car on the street, to the track and back every race. I love it!!

I have a ton of great pictures to share as I also handle the track photography over at Luskville Dragway. You can look through them here:

Hello all! My name is Fred and I drive an 88 GT T-Top. Mostly all the common mods people do to their cars-underdrive pulleys, smog and A/C delete with a short belt, shorty headers, off road h-pipe... I plan on putting a turbo on my car this winter, which should be fun! I will be getting GIXXER750 to do all the work! I'll just sit back and watch as he takes the engine out and built my turbo set-up for me! :P J/K... I only need a bit more stuff and I will be starting the project! For sure I will be getting Steve to help some time though!

Here's a couple of pics:

Hey all. Now I don't have a Stang, but I do have an '81 Capri RS project in the works. My driver right now is an '87 T-Bird Turbocoupe. I also have an '86 Cougar XR7 2.3T.
The bird has the 2.3T with 276.1 rwhp /297.6 rwtq. The Cougar is stock as a winter driver. The Capri RS is not yet even in the garage. Have to clean it up and paint it first (the garage I mean).
As you can probably tell I'm a 2.3 turbo nut. Consequently the Capri will also be a 2.3 turbo. Only this one is aiming for a bit more power yet.
Love the rides I've seen here so far. :nice:
