Just checking to see if anybody will be out radaring this weekend, I was out on Buckums bay this weekend and it wasn't to bad except for the top water at the shore line. We have been getting some cold night this week and will continue into the weekend. The ice shacks are still out.

Lots of ice up here ( about 4 hours north of T.O) problem is trying to find a plowed track...ATV's having a tough time due to snow drifts...and shorelines not thick enough to get trucks out on the ice yet...

Speaking of ice... "Super Dave II ( Moca Latea version )" - recently renamed "Aqua Dave" rollinglaugh.gif is still getting dried out from the last venture onto Constance Bay.

BE CAREFUL out there people!

I was on the ICE again last night and its mint. I did not break through the shorline to get on. Theres not much snow on Buckums Bay, so plowing with a 4 wheeler would be easy. I would not trust the shorline with a truck yet, but for sleds to get on and off its ok now, by the weekend it will be even better. The ICE is smooth and fast after the melt down.
I wish that day Dave would have plowed a track on Buckums instead of Constatnce Bay. I was there when they were trying to pull the truck out what day that was

aliens improver f-7 ran a 122 in 1000'

rileys 800 ultra ran a 124.5
and rich shelbach of rush city ran a 155 on sunday in 1000'

on saturday outlaw racing with there price performance powered sled ran a 160 mph in 1000'

anderson chassis ran a 154 with there 1000 open mod on sunday as well.

I have a couple of the video clips if i can figure out how to post them?

if spence sees the video of riley, does that get him into the 120 club?

If any of them are members of the site and we can see video proof that they are running this distance from a dead stop 'and' they fall into the qualifications of this years BIG DOG Award then we can get their times up on the 120mph board in 'yellow' to show they've qualified

video's of anyone else outside the restrictions of this years BIG DOG can be added to the board for sure, we just need full names, sleds and mph and whatever distance ( just to keep that 120mph club list somewhat organized )

thanks for the update, all great times, hope they all had a blast!

here's the 2008 BIG DOG Award thread link http://2koolperformance.ca/forum/index.php?showtopic=2315

That vid link no worky - perhaps one of the 5,000 sites I've been ban'd from LOL! ( you get'n this PTM ? )

These guys need to get registered up and post their vids here on the site. Are any of them actual members of the FROZEN THUNDER Snowmobile Forums? We'd all love to have them on the board with us ( non homo )

Al's improver, what is the list of improvements on that sled? We were running over 116+ in 1000' with the F7 here last year in 1000' head to Head drags - and yes AL is in another league and a super great guy.

put the word out that we need these guys up'd the info , it's easy to register and we're one of the only forums I believe that's keep somewhat of an organized list of everyone's accomplishments. Other than the licenced bodies of course.

his stocker is at 114 but that is a stock sled. no pipe changes or anything.
I would imagine that the f-7 improver has different heads, pipes, porting, not sure what controlers for ignition and such that they could change?

yes most likely and as not to take anything away from that 114mph in 1000' ? you can't call that bone stock, like out of the box - pretty sure that wasn't running stock gearing etc.

I know they shim and adjust the rear suspensions, crush the skid etc etc

and true stocker would mean no pics etc in reality but you know how all this goes

now you sound like my uncle. lol

my 800 xcr stock other than clutching and adding pics, full suspension and all. ran 108.4 every weekend for the first year. no matter what i did, 108.4. in the 1000'. then as i changed gearing, tracks and some different trail pipes got up to the 116 mph.

Claude

some of your guys have been inquiring to see if you will allow them to run ( possibly at the end of the day as to not mess up the ice for you ) 1000' for our BIG DOG Award. As long as you are present and they can be video'd from a dead stop in 1000' and we can see the board then they would qualify and it would get us some guys up on the board here.

let me now and have fun! Dave is looking forward to seeing you

Madcow - you have to somehow get us that video, if it shows he started from a dead stop and it all appears legit we'd like to get him up as the first BIG DOG entry.

Saber - if you're there, SUPER DAVE should be also, if they can set up 1000' and have Dave as a witness, all times within the eligibility rules would be good for the board

Have fun!
