Hey There Guys & Gals,

I'm a newcomer here and I'm helping out Spenc with the regional snow report from Arnprior for the 05/06 sled season! Unfortunately no good news just yet.. With all the rain what little snow we did have has disappeared.

But stay tuned.. I'll keep you informed!!

Your Snow Bunny..

Hey There Guys & Gals...

Let the season begin? Well soon, maybe... Just a light dusting of snow the other night here in the Prior.. But I'm afraid not even enough to fully cover the grass. Hang in there, were expecting more snow this weekend..

I'll keep you posted...

Your Bunny!

Well winter might be here, but the snow is slow coming to the valley. Just a light dusting coming down this aft... The grass is still poking through the snow in spots. Total on the ground anywhere from an 1 -2 inches on the ground so far...

Hang in there....

Your Bunny...

Total on the ground is about 5" but it's reallt fluffy and once you drive over it it only comes out to 1".

Oh well it's a start, and I see in the forcast that we will have some more on thrusday

Think snow! cheers.gif

Well kids looks like there's gonna be some riding in on the weekend. Large storm coming in. 25-30 cm's comin. (that's around a foot for our American freinds) Hope we get it. Looks like around the Ottawa area closer to 30cm. Have fun and be safe. Don't think I'll be out. Sold a sled last weekend and wrenched my back bad lifting it.

Today we recieved 7" of the white stuff and by the looks of the consistance it should make for good trails.

I will post my results after I take a run and see how the trails are shaping up.

Merry HO HO!!!

Well Santa's sled might have made it around the world last night, I'm afraid the average sled wouldn't get to far up here in the valley. With a steady stream of drizzle and mild temps the snow is melting fast. Were down to about 10cm compared to 23cm this time last week. Let's hope the weather man is right and we get the expected 10cm over the next day! I'll keep you posted.

Hope Santa was good to all.. and don't eat to much turkey tonight!!

If you're wondering why you can't see in front of your face in Leeds & Grenville area tonight... below is the reason.

This Great Lakes Doplar Radar image is of our area at 5pm Wednesday January 04/06

Remember You can get all this kind of info right here on your regional Frozen Thunder Snowmobile Forums by checking out our DOPLER RADAR WEATHER LINKS http://2koolperformance.ca/forum/index.php?showtopic=226

Here's another shot. Unfortunately this quick storm is a mix'd bag of snow, ice rain and rain, but "If it covers grass it kicks a$$" in our books! cool.gif Every lil bit helps

Hate to say it but we have some VERY unseasonably warm days ahead here this week. From the long range forecast , which by the way 'looks like a$$' and not the 'taken a piece of' kind..... wacko.gif we'll be losing most our snow here in Southeastern Ontario in the next 48 hrs... Good news however is they're calling for -5 Sat night... to -3 on Sunday ( -11 Sunday night ).

With Graham Lake freshly plowed by our bud "Machzzzz", the lake by Sunday could be hardened back up and as smooth as glass..... see more 'record' numbers for our '120+mph Club' " BOO YA "

JAN 20

As you can see, we're going the wrong way with our winter. We're actually in worse shape now than last week ( posted above for Jan 14)

With +10 in the forecast for the local area today we may be losing our ICE completely! banghead.gif Trials? Forgettaboutit.... it's a 3 hr trailer drive for anyone in this area to see GOOD snow.

Sucks to be a new sled owner this season ( in our area at least )
record temps could be recorded in our region today , according to the Weather Network 1986 was the last time it was this warm on JAN 20

WOO HOOO!! The valley is loaded with snow.... There is about 15cm down since last last night (on top of what we had) and it's still comin.... It's wet heavy snow, little hard to shovel.. :)

I'll give you a grand total little later this morning... but I'm guessing about 30cm at this point..

Happy Trails..

Your Bunny..
