OSGOODE - on the Rideau River Feb 11th / 07
RESULTS AND PIC'S

Another great day out in the community! Was a bit nervous there for awhile this morning with getting to the area a bit late and a large number of dudes looking for ice and the track but firecat saved the day so a big thanks Dave! u - rock.

Here's the pics! - Hope everyone had a great time! Turn out was Great! Thanks to everyone for listening to instructions given out prior to GIVE'n ER which proved to make for a safe and very well organized day of testing for everyone.

firecat will help us out below with some recorded SPEED times. Most of the site has been updated - ie - the 120+mph Club list , new BIG DOG AWARD time etc

With the track prep-d and plowed

and the crowd assembled and ready to rock......

Speedykirb's F1000 was working well in 3000' I think , will post # later

Attached Image: post-1-1171248645.jpg

The wind at times today had the sleds all over the place but pilons can be replaced
( that's $4 to firecat rollinglaugh.gif )

Attached Image: post-1-1171248968.jpg

Speaking of firecat he was a bit off today with some slower times for his F1000 in 3000' but bounced back in some 1000' drags later on. A monster help with the site and out in the community spreading word of what we're doing here with 2KOOL PERFORMANCE and your FROZEN THUNDER Snowmobile forums - ride looks sweet bro!

Attached Image: post-1-1171249442.jpg

Someone also blew a track apart so whoever knows this guy have him call first of the week for a deal on a new track

Attached Image: post-1-1171249158.jpg

Some very impressive top end times were recorded today including HOLLYWOOD's back to back 159+mph times bowdown.gif
Attached Image: post-1-1171249587.jpg

And a new site member record speed from HURRICANE and the Project HURRICANE site sled build http://2koolperformance.ca/forum/index.php?showtopic=1827 , a 166.7mph pass that had everyone wondering 'what ta f*&*(^'. Most impressive was the way the sled sits coming down the ice
( and no Dave.... I won't PLUG the USI "SS Railers" again )
it's ALL YOU man! Congrats! bowdown.gif

Attached Image: post-1-1171249597.jpg

Attached Image: post-1-1171249619.jpg

Nice to see that sled build getting dialed in and the owner smiling.

Attached Image: post-1-1171249634.jpg

As always...... SPEED brings hunger - to witt the CHEESEBURGER!!!
get those GREASY GRIMMY FINGERS away from my belt!!!!!

Attached Image: post-1-1171250046.jpg

With Hyper Top End out of the way a few guys took at shot at the 1320' 1/4 mile times for this years site BIG DOG AWARD. Others just wanted to see how they faired compared to the likes of Larry Dixon and John Force r_c.gif

Here's a shot of Speedykirb rocketing off the line. I was very surprised at how well JD's sled was hooking with trail studs. He'll be adjusting this traction here shortly and will be a FORCE in 1000' drags the next time out.

Attached Image: post-1-1171250697.jpg

We see some bizarre stuff when out at these get-2-gethers and today was another perfect example. Look what's showing up here to the 1/4 mile marker. A frozen front ski Kanevil surely on bad weed. Regardless this thing posted some series digits!!!!

Attached Image: post-1-1171250909.jpg

One of the most impressive times of the day was from DC9 Nick Chupick who pulled down a 138.9mph in 1320' which has him now comfortably ahead of HOLLYWOOD for the Annual BIG DOG Award.

With BIG DOG AWARD tries out of the way it was time for some 1000' head to head Duel's and MAN!! is that popular..... Unfortunately the snow blew in here as the sun was going down so it got a bit HAIRY, but there were some great races to be seen by anyone still hanging around.

Attached Image: post-1-1171251631.jpg

Even more SICK than Nick's 1320' time was his bizarre second run in 1000' which showed us a 136.9mph on the lights! eek.gif which by the way is IMPOSSIBLE to film
Attached Image: post-1-1171251726.jpg

an F1000 duel

Attached Image: post-1-1171252056.jpg

On a posotive business note, our 1000' set up on new owner Kyle Bancrofts site Project FXR F7 proved too much for the nitrous sniffing F1000's today - all good!

SPECIAL THANKS to Rebecca Crow from The BEAR 106.9 fm for some great prizes we were able to give out today - very KOOL bowdown.gif http://www.thebear.fm/

Have a good week everyone! thumbsup2.gif

Well it was a little CRAZY today but thanks to all ,,, because all were SMART and listened to the guide lines of todays racing,, we will again have another racing day in OSGOODE,... Because ALL RACED SMART>>>>>> But because of the 45 sleds running i am still going over the times and TOP speeds..... as a recap today their were 440 to 1200 cc sleds running,, superchargers,, turbos,, and N.O.S. to boot 87 mph was the lowest speed from a 440 zl and a TOP speed of 166+ mph from the yami-doo turbo,, and everything in between

BUT i think most people LOVED the HEADS UP RACING,,, it was a blast,,,, once again proving that even at very high speeds ,,, racing can be safe fun... so again thanks for all playing safe.... no dammaged body parts or sleds,, well all but that yami srx track going by the way side in a kabillion parts....
When hell freezes over,, i will ride their too!!!
ALL THROTTLE.....Hmmm AND A LITTLE BOTTLE!!

wow1.gif 166MPH, I wish i could have saw that. Congrats on Project Hurricane i have been following the build from day 1 buttrock.gif . I got a phone call this morning that they heard a F7 doing close to 170MPH it was nice to see it was the Yami-Doo. I wonder what Hollywood has planned to beat that???????
I would love to see the Yami-Doo in Constance Bay this Weekend.

Hollywood has his work cut out for him.... needs to beat Project HURRICANE's 166mph Top End, the (stock motored ) Project FXR F7 sled in 1000' and Nick DC9 in 1320' for over-all BIG DOG AWARD 2007
