Our motor project is slowly moving along, but that's good for us as we're very busy here keep'n dudes in high performance products for ALL rides. Joe is working away at the motor in his spare time and we greatly appreciate that. Here's a shot of a similar set up we're working towards... We'll add a few things to our set up with the end result a ton of 'glimmer' with some serious HP! cool.gif

As the next phase ( Suspension mods ) begins on our in-house project Hot Rod build, we'll keep firing some pics at you.

It's now time to remove our existing Maximum Motorsports full length sub frames in order to make room for what will be our new 3" side exist SPIN TECH Pro Street exhaust.

But First, we'll have to remove our existing cat back ( 'cats'? ya right! like we had anything 'bird' friendly on this ride tongue_nana.gif ) system which worked excellent on our stock powerplant. That was the 2.5 SPIN TECH 'Pro Street' through SS 2.5 dual tips. - this chuck of our ride will be for sale in our Mustang Parts for sale section

Anyone who was around our project ride will agree it was a great decision to stay with SPIN TECH... they work great on the dyno, and sound absolutely bad a$$ cool.gif

Never an enjoyable job, to 'cut off' brand new parts, but it has to be done. This part of our old / unused really, exhaust was welded up at the time as there was no plans for MONSTER POWER....

frig that noise... and BRING IT ON!! popc1.gif

In this pic you can clearly see where the Maximum Motorsports sub frames lie along the underside of the car. Strong as could be, they were perfect at the time, however we've decided to use the side exit exhaust system from SPIN TECH so in this exact location shown here, we'll have to make room . The SPIN TECH full length subframes provided to us for this project will allow for this.... so thanks Ron at SPIN TECH! http://www.spintechmufflers.com/ You_Rock_Emoticon.gif

You can get all the great SPIN TECH products right here through 2KOOL PERFORMANCE sales@2koolperformance.com

The first thing we have to do is prepare our LAKEWOOD Drag Struts to accept the UPR PRODCTS Chrome Molly Coil Over Suspension parts, this involves breaking the spot welds at the top of the struts ( shown in picture #1 ) , so the coil over boot can fit freely over the strut itself.

UPR PRODUCTS didn't stop at both front and rear pro drag suspension in helping us... they also supplied their trick and super easy to adjust billet caster camber plates 'and' a KooL bump steer kit which we prepared today for our FLAMING RIVER manual steering rack. Below you'll also see the UPR Chrome Molly A Arms which we fitted today with the supplied bushing! Great stuff and should be a breeze install
Next week we'll be back and have some weight saving data on the stock parts we'll take off our project MILD 2 WILD Hot Rod , which should be interesting for all you FOX BODY dudes!

New products arrive from our Bro's at NX

With this project's priority being HP, Our friends over at NX EXPRESS knew we'd a new nitrous delivery system, so Josh Phillips fired over their NX604 Holley Gemini Twin Stage 6 , 50-300hp plate system for our Spyder Intake. They also sent us an ungrade in solenoids with their Lightning series! Very KooL. NITROUS EXPRESS's continued support of our in house Hot Rod '1FUN TOY' is greatly appreciated, so make sure to check out all their great products which you can get right here through 2KOOL PERFORMANCE http://www.nitrousexpress.com/

Thanks Josh! You_Rock_Emoticon.gif

SCT Sponsors Project MILD 2 WILD

We would like to thank Chris Johnson at SCT for his show of support in offering our project Hot Rod build the products we'll need to get 1FUN TOY properly 'tuned'. Joe D'Sousa knew who he wanted for this piece of our HP puzzle, a quick call to SCT and we knew we were in good hands. Chris sends us a SCT 4 bank chip and BIG AIR module which will allow D'Sousa Performance to fine tune at will our MILD 2 WILD motor build . Very pleased with this help from SCT.

Make sure to check out the impressive line-up of performance products from SCT Flash!
http://www.sctflash.com/ You can acquire all their products through us as well. thumbsup2.gif

Thanks again Chris, much appreciated!

UPR K-Member - Bump Steer INSTALL

With some much needed help from UPR PRODUCTS, we are able to shed some serious weight and add some more BLING to our Project Hot Rod! Thanks again Jeremy, these UPR products look great and fit in like a glove!

We saved close to 50lbs in just the K member swap alone with the UPR Products! Another approx 12lbs is saved with our FLAMING RIVER manual rack that allows savings of the power steering pump , fluid and lines. More weight savings come from the UPR Coil Over system ( approx 15lbs )that we can provide to you in 3 different spring settings. Knowing we are going FULL BORE straight line with this project build Jeremy at UPR recommended their DRAG SPRING series Coil Over system. It also comes in Street/Strip and Slalom/Road Course Racing. !

In total we've eliminated approx 77lbs from the front end of our Project Ride bowdown.gif

Pro Series REAR DRAG KIT UPR Products install

It was Pro Series Rear Drag Kit day.

It was time to strip out the old ( really 'new' from this car ) rear suspension parts today and all went smooth with the exception of those PESKY, and we mean PESKY stock upper differential bushings! Anyone who's taken these out ( good idea if you're into serious performance ) knows what we're talking about. The trick found was heat and lots of it! What you're left with is a gooy mess of melted HOT rubber! Cutting the outer case of the bushing is also necessary. All parts are in and the new UPR Anti Roll bar ( although not stock rear exit exhaust friendly ) is all tucked up high above the rear axle just itch'n to keep things aligned on LAUNCH day! We also installed our Mr Gasket LAKEWOOD Drag Shocks and 87-93 rear MUSTANG GT rear springs. Proven to be the Purrrrfect rear spring ratio for HOOK'n UP at the track, we ditched our STEEDA Sport Springs ( which were great for the street )

The quality of the UPR Products is simply amazing, so if you're serious about putting power to the pavement make sure to call us. We have the entire UPR PRODUCTS lineup available to you, all at a great price!sales@2koolperformance.ca

Products installed today can be seen on our new "Online SPECIALS" page here http://2koolperformance.ca/specials/index.htm

Just wanted to mention that this system from UPR is a total SLEEPER set up. With the removal of the low hanging stock sway bar, the new UPR Anit Roll bar tucked up high above the rear axle, and the low profile rear lower control arms, you really have to LOOK to see all those serious parts!

bowdown.gif UPR rocks!

Any updated pics of the car in it's completion???????????????????????

We've been stalled a bit in waiting on gears ... WILWOOD is asking for some measurements ( hopefully good news for some brake help ) , so we need to get the 33 splines with 3.73 gears recommended from D'Sousa Performance in for our correct 1/4mile ratio . 4:10's are in the car now.

More pics will come here in a bit.... Precision gear looking at the build right now, so we might make a switch from Pro50

Look forward to seeing everyone's Jaw's drop looking at your car in Brockville August 6th

hehe - I assumed Spence willl bring it to Brockville ...... almost like a home town event (sort of speak).

Don't worry Bottle-boy ..... you are in a different class. Unfortunately I will be in Spence's class. That's part of the reason I wanted to see some updated pics.

You will be in McFly's class.

I may just have to drop another 10 grand into the car before then ....... LOL.

Lets all just pray for good weather. I SO want to do this event. Last 2 years we have had perfect weather on the Sunday.

Spence ..... I don't mind if people lean on my car to look at yours ...... sign_beer.gif sign_beer.gif sign_beer.gif

Holy Shit .... That's the BEST news ..... Ahhhh, .... I mean the WORSE news I've heard in a long time. I really DID want to see your new ride.

But I have to admit I am happy that incredible competive ride won't be there.

Are you setting up a booth at this show or how does that work?

If not, perhaps I'll hire you to dust off our cars from time to time ....... LOL ....... Or better yet, a certain blonde girl I know .... That would be 2 080402cool_prv.gif
